Hyams Beach Jervis Bay

Welcome to South Coast Backpackers

Heading out of Syndey along the 'South Coast' you will find some of the whitest sand and clearest waters the world has to offer.  Along this spectacular coastline you will find a number of coastal fishing villages and tourist towns surrounded by spectacular National Park's and State Forests.

Just 2.5 hours South of Sydney and 3 hours East of Canberra you will find Jervis Bay.  One of the most visited regions by Australian tourists yet still not a part of the international tourist trail Jervis Bay is an amazing place; you will come for a day and stay for a week.

Moona Moona Creek Jervis Bay

Jervis Bay is considerably larger than Sydney Harbour and one of only a few Marine Parks in New South Wales.  Home to approximately 80 bottlenose dolphins and a regular stop over for migrating whales Jervis Bay is a great place to go Dolphin Watching, Whale Watching, Scuba Diving, Sea Kayaking or just to take time out on one of the many beautiful beaches.

The National Parks surrounding Jervis Bay are bursting with wildlife and it is not uncommon to see Australia's famous Kangaroos.  In the National Park, on the golf course or strolling the streets, if you want to see Kangaroos we can tell you where to look.

Huskisson Jervis Bay

A visit to Jervis Bay will complete any 'Australian Experience' and is a must for internation and local tourists alike.
